PRINCIPAL

Brian Afnan is the Founder and Principal of Afnan &Company.  Active in the development andreal estate industry since 1998, Brian has experience in property acquisition,planning, entitlement, development, estimating, construction and sales.  A civil engineer by training, Brian earned aBachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering, both from CornellUniversity.  He is a member of theMaryland Building Industry Association where he serves as its 2025 Presidentand is a member of the National Association of Homebuilders.

Prior to establishing Afnan & Company, Brian was a VicePresident for one of the nation’s largest home building companies.  Brian held positions in construction, sales& marketing, land acquisition and development.  In total, he was involved with the sale andconstruction of over 5,500 homes and the development of over 2,500 lots inOhio, Pennsylvania, Marland and Washington, DC.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Brian now lives in ChevyChase, Maryland with his wife, their three daughters and the dog, Jack.
